Dental Merlin — Blender add-on (4.2+)
=====================================

Install
  1. Blender 4.2 or newer
  2. Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install from Disk
  3. Select this zip (the folder inside must be named dental_merlin)
  4. Enable "Dental Merlin"
  5. 3D View → press N → Merlin tab

Library
The zip includes the same Universal 1–32 3PX teaching library used in the
browser academy, plus the #3 and #19 chamfer preps. Meshes are millimetres,
Z-up, in their original arch positions.

  • Add library tooth — pick Universal 1–32 (FDI and name shown in the panel)
  • Add full 1–32 arch — loads every tooth in arch position
  • Add #3 or #19 demo prep — the same preps as the CAD lab
  • Sculpt starter (one subdivision + sculpt mode)
  • Closed margin curve, sized to the selected tooth
  • Syllabus in the sidebar (D1/D2 talking points)

Place at 3D cursor: on = inspect a single tooth; off = keep arch position.

The web academy is the same syllabus without a workstation fight.
Neither tool replaces a wet-hand prep.
